Union minister Bhupender Yadav described the circular economy as the future of business and stated that the government is dedicated to solving climate change challenges comprehensively with environmental action.
"The most significant aspect is that India is striving towards low carbon development in accordance with national circumstances," Yadav, minister for environment, forest, and climate change, as well as labour and employment, said in an address to the Confederation of Indian Industry's Annual Session 2023 on Wednesday.
He stated that under its G20 leadership, India has thoroughly integrated mitigation and adaptation across the priority areas of halting land degradation, accelerating system restoration, and enhancing biodiversity.
He advised people and businesses to live in ways that promote environmental progress and sustainability.
